Who's Inspiring Me ~ Thom Felicia

The first time I heard of Thom Felicia  it was when he was on Queer Eye For The Straight Guy. Did you ever watch that show?! It was hilarious. Carson cracked me up. But Thom's room designs were what kept me watching.

To be honest, after that show ended, I never really followed his work and just wrote him off as another tv celebrity designer that comes and goes with the current tv trends. It wasn't until I saw some of his design work in a few magazines that he really caught my attention again. And after scanning through his portfolio, I was pleasantly surprised. What I loved about his spaces is his use of texture. He doesn't leave any spot untouched, including the ceilings, and what he creates is warmth. His designs tend to have a more masculine feel, but he also infuses a bit of relaxed glamour that appeals to either sex. But what really stands out is how he takes unexpected objects and integrates them into the room creating that wow factor. It's never tacky, always sophisticated and flawlessly breathtaking. Take a look.
