A few touches of spring

The weather has been so nice here this week and it has left me with a serious case of spring fever. We've enjoyed temps up in the 80's which is completely unusual for this time of year, so I'm soaking in all the sunshine I can!! I love spring flowers, and though the weather has been warm enough, it's still way too early to start planting outdoors, so I thought I would bring the outdoors in and brighten the place up a bit with some cut flowers and other touches of spring. Tulips are my favorite... just looking at them makes me smile:)

 

 On my living room mantle, I added some tulips in simple cylinder vases from the dollar store.

 

 

 

 I framed some Amy Butler scrapbook paper in a pretty spring pattern, and the canvas of my son is a project I did following this tutorial from The Sassy Pepper.

 I also nested a few pastel eggs on some moss around the house. This cloche I picked up from the goodwill, as well as the milk glass bowls and chalices.

 I have these frames above our TV unit that I haven't found any prints for yet, so I printed off some graphics from The Graphics Fairy, and framed them with some more Amy Butler papers. The eggs and the feathers are perfect for spring.

 Tomorrow is officially the first day of Spring!! Are you as excited as I am that it's finally here?!
