Awarded and Featured. Could it get any better?
I started this blog a few months ago as a launching point to REALLY stop procrastinating and start tackling all my decorating projects that I have been putting off for so long or started and never finished. (I'm infamous for this! Just ask my husband!) I'm really loving sharing all my creative juices with all my readers and in return , being inspired by all the wonderful blogs out there! One thing I never expected was the support and encouragement that exists in the blogging community. It is both humbling and gratifying to have a blogger that you admire recognize your hard work and passion and want to honor you.
Much to my surprise, yesterday I was tagged with the Liebster Blog Award by my new blogging friend over at To The Moon and Back which is passed to up
and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers. Liebster is a
German word meaning dear, sweet, kind, nice, good, beloved, lovely,
kindly, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing and welcome. I'm so thankful that she thinks my blog is deserving of such an honor!
To keep this award going and pass it along to other new deserving blogs, the recipient must now recognize 5 other bloggers with less than 200 followers that have really stood out in the crowd.

- Owen's Olivia. I found Nancy's blog after seeing her DIY Chevron curtain tutorial over at Remodelaholic. I fell in love with these curtains and may just have to steal this idea for my sons big boy room! She has a lot of fresh fabric inspiration and ideas that I just love.
- Just So Lovely. I instantly fell in love with Lizette's blog after stumbling upon it from a linky party. (I posted a picture of her fall decorations on my Fall Inspiration post.)She has a great sense of style and 2 young boys about the same age as mine, so I feel I can easily relate to her! Her home looks so calming and serene. Be sure to check out her home tour!
- The Rooster and The Hen. I also found this blog from a fantastic Husband & Wife team through a linky party. Checkout this awesome wood stacked fireplace! This duo has great ideas and it's so refreshing to see the husband and wife working together!
- Katie's Cucina. I found Katie's blog while I was searching for a Shrimp & Scallops in Tomato Vodka Sauce recipe. I tried her version and it was fantastic! If you check out her blog, I guarantee you will leave hungry! Everything looks so delicious and is made with REAL FOOD!
- Prairie Perch. Sarah is a fellow Canadian living in Saskatchewan. I came across Sarah's blog through another great Canadian blog I follow, hodge:podge. Her style is fresh and fun and modern and I have pinned MANY of her projects to my Pinterest boards!
