Trendy Tuesday ~ The British Invasion

I'm paying homage to my British roots today and talking about the national symbol of Great Britain, the Union Jack.

But you don't have to go all the way across the pond to grab a bit of British nostalgia. Home decor items with the Union Jack are popping up all over North America.

Gobsmacked?! I know I am!
Love this trend and want to know how to incorporate it into your decor? Here's 4 great ideas to add a bit of Brit to your home.

  1. Traditional is your style? Add a fabulous map print in a gold frame, or choose a more muted, toned down Union Jack Pillow or throw.
  2. A child's room or nook gets a whimsical feel when you add fun accessories like a Union Jack sailboat or floor cube.
  3. A mostly neutral, modern industrial home office gets a bold focal point when the Union Jack flag is hung on the wall.
  4. A rustic, vintage modern living room is the perfect setting for this Union Jack sofa. Don't want to invest in furniture with the Union Jack printed on the leather? Try a throw instead.
