This beautiful cottage located along the shores of lake huron was in need of an update. The challenge was to bring this 90’s kitchen up to date by reflecting the client’s modern aesthetic, all while maintaining a lake house feel. In addition to clean modern lines we added lighter wood floors with a rustic feel, a panelled ceiling with beam, and brought in some natural concrete elements. Double kitchen islands and a round table are perfect for entertaining, and the comfortable yet modern furnishings offer a cozy space to gaze across the lake while warming by the fire.
