My boys have been bugging me for WEEKS now to put up some Halloween decorations. Ever since they saw the animated ghosts and skeletons at Target, they haven’t been able to stop talking about it! And no, I didn’t buy them, or any decorations this year for that matter.
If you remember my post from last year, it was my first go at actually decorating for Halloween. You see, I’m not much of a ‘seasonal’ decorator, (except for Christmas of course!) but as the boys get older, I couldn’t ignore my bah-humbug anti-holiday voice any longer. So I caved and bought some spooky stuff from the dollar store last year and made my very first Halloween Mantle. It turned out pretty good, but this year I wanted to glam it up a bit.
Hellooo pretty gold pumpkins!
Bonjour sparkly gold feathers…
Can’t go wrong with gold branches!
Salut Monsuir Crow.
Come back tomorrow and I will show you some more glam metallic pumpkins and how I made them for $0 by using what I already had around the house.
Sarah
